LibertyOne CU History

LibertyOne Credit Union was chartered in 1935 by the State of Texas as Government Employees Credit Union of Dallas and served all U.S. Government employees. We changed our name in 1968 to Dallas Treasury Credit Union to reflect the fact that we began serving only Treasury Department employees. In 2001, we reverted back to our original charter, but kept the same name. In 2004, we changed our name to better reflect the fact that we now serve all U.S. Government employees who live or work in Dallas or Tarrant County, and their families.
